Here are the rules.
1. Write about 5 specific ways blogging has affected you, either positively or negatively.
2. Link back to the person who tagged you. (Carlos)
3. Link back to L.L. Barkat who created the meme. (He is not so much interested in generating links, but rather in tracking the meme so she can perhaps do a summary post later on that looks at patterns and interesting discoveries.)
4. Tag a few friends or five, or none at all
5. Post these rules — or just have fun breaking them.
I don't like internet memes like this too much, especially when there is tagging involved. But I checked out them site where this started and read a couple of other's 5 on their blog and thought, "Why not?"
So, here they are. 5 ways blogging has changed my life:
1.) It's a great way for me to write. I love to write, but I don't have the self discipline to write something like a book or story. But in this blog, it can generally be short enough that I can sit down and write something when inspiration strikes me.
2.) I've gotten to connect with people that I would never have been able to connect with otherwise.
3.) It has opened me up to a whole new world for me to explore. Not just with blogs but all these social networking communities that blogging has help expand.
4.) It allows me to open up and say things that are on my heart that normally wouldn't come up in normal conversation. Most peope never notice, but I can be quite a deep thinker, I have so many things swirling around in my head that most of it pops up randomly. And with the lovely save feature I can start a thought and work on it later, after I let it brew for a little bit.
5.) umm... I dunno, but every list needs 5
So, I'm suppse to tag someone, but I'm going to excerise rule #5 and not do it. I don't know anyone who reads this blog who hasn't already done this anyways.
